The position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Pharmacist (RPh) working full-time with a schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., including every other weekend. The RN/RPh has the authority and responsibility for managing nursing care and services for a specified group of patients. This role involves ongoing observations, assessments, and nursing actions based on identified patient needs, while complying with safety and infection control standards. The position also includes participation in quality assessment and continuous quality improvement activities, ensuring that all duties are performed in a courteous and customer-focused manner according to the Hurley Family Standards of Behavior. The RN/RPh works under the direct supervision of a Manager or designee, who assigns responsibilities and reviews compliance with established standards. Additionally, the RN/RPh may direct and coordinate the work of professional and ancillary personnel providing nursing care to patients.
