About The Position

Infosys is seeking a GCP Technical Support Representative (Platform) who is going to handle Support cases on GCP products mainly Platform Shard. This role will be involved to work on the cases and provide possible solutions to the Customers within SLA. This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other Customer teams, Cloud Architects, Engineers and Subject Matter Experts. This role requires working in a 24/7 shift system.

Requirements

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Phoenix, AZ or willing to relocate to the area prior to onboarding.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 2 years of Information Technology experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in Cloud Technology
  • At least 2 years of experience in Unix/Linux platform, command line and shell scripting
  • Willing to work in shifts (24/7 support)
  • In order to comply with legal requirements, this role is limited to 'U.S. persons' as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15. U.S. persons include U.S. citizens, U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents, and certain refugees and asylees.

Nice To Haves

  • GCP Certification - Associate Cloud Engineer/Professional Cloud Architect/ Professional Cloud Developer is preferred
  • Experience in one or more popular software languages such as Java, C++, Python, Go, etc.
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
  • Basic understanding of Virtual Machines, Databases, RESTful API's, Containers, and Software development
  • Basic knowledge of CPUs, Memory, Storage types, GPUs, and other hardware related components
  • Basic networking knowledge such as Latency, Ingress/Egress Traffic, Firewall rules, IPv4/IPv6 addresses and notations, etc.
  • Excellent problem solving and Root Cause Analysis skills.
  • Good Communication and Analytical skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer interfacing skills.
