About The Position

We are seeking 4+ years in cloud/platform engineering (with a primary focus on GCP) as a GCP Platform Engineer to design, build, secure, and operate our Google Cloud platform. You will enable product, data, and engineering teams by delivering reliable infrastructure, automation-first workflows, and self-service capabilities across computer, networking, data, and CI/CD.‑service capabilities across.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in GCP
• Infrastructure & Networking (VPC, DNS, Load Balancing)
• Experience with Terraform
• Solid scripting experience

Responsibilities

• Design and operate GCP networking: VPCs, subnets, routing, DNS, load balancing, and peering
• Implement robust identity and access controls: IAM roles, policies, and service accounts
• Manage secrets securely: Google Secret Manager (and related secret management best practices)
• Deliver infrastructure as code: author, version, and maintain Terraform modules and stacks
• Build CI/CD pipelines and automation: GitHub Actions for build, test, deploy, and governance
• Support data pipelines and platforms: BigQuery, GCS, Composer, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub
• Containerization and orchestration: Docker images, GKE cluster operations (services, deployments, pods), and troubleshooting
• Helm chart lifecycle: preparation, deployment, versioning, and release governance
• Artifact management: maintain artifact registries and promote builds across environments
• Scripting and tooling: Python, Bash, and Shell to automate workflow, testing, and ops tasks
• Reliability and observability: logging/monitoring, alerting, incident response, and performance tuning
• Security and compliance: guardrails, policies, audits, and least privilege enforcement‑privilege enforcement
• Cost governance: optimize resource usage and spend; implement budgets and alerts
• Documentation and enablement: create runbooks, standards, and self-service guides; mentor teams‑service guides; mentor teams
