GCP Engineer
About The Position
Seeking GCP Engineer to play a key role in designing, migrating and scaling a modern data Google Cloud Platform infrastructure, ensuring security. Design, implement, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Terraform across multiple environments (production, staging, sandbox, and customer deployments). Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines and data products within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes to transform data from a variety of sources Partners with key roles (e.g. project managers, business analysts, etc.) to create well-defined solutions that are aligned to the IT Strategy and leverages common solutions and services, to meet key project goals. Proactively troubleshoot, debug, and resolve data and application issues, providing post-implementation and rotational on-call support to ensure business continuity
Requirements
- Understanding of state management, secrets handling, and cloud security, 7-9 years of expertise in these areas
- Expertise with networking, IAM, logging, and monitoring in Google Cloud Platform
- Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability in distributed cloud systems, including metrics, logs, tracing, and latency analysis
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment
