About The Position

As a Laboratory Analyst I based in our Mt Pleasant, MI lab, you will be part of Montrose, a global environmental services provider. We focus on environmental planning, measurement, and analytical services, and sustainability solutions. Requirements

• BA / BS Degree in Chemistry or related Sciences (or equivalent training).
• Effective communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently following applicable training.
• Flexibility with changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain GCMS and Formaldehyde instruments, including daily set up, weekly and monthly checks and review of quality control data.
• Process and interpret data using GCMS Instrument Data Acquisition and processing software.
• Prepare calibration standards.
• Use basic chemistry equipment such as micro-syringes, balances, pipettes, etc.
• Use laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
• Assess instrument performance.
• Assist in writing SOPs and other essential documents.
• Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
• Comply with Enthalpy’s Health and Safety Program.
• Comply with Enthalpy’s Quality Assurance Program and other policies.
