POSITION SUMMARY: We currently have openings in the operations department for the following positions: (Shifts hours are from 5 am -5 pm) Identify different wire sizes and arrange stands in accordance with the lineup. Use a crane to move wire stands into position Calibrate tangle switches Stop lines when needed using the payoff control panel. Butt weld wire Follow the process to change over wire stands when one has completed (Move payoff arm) Identify wire tangles - physically adjust the wire to prevent tangles Pull wire through the sand furnace and acid pickle Keep payoff in good housekeeping condition.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of work experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Must be able to work in a team-based, positive, fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to understand written instructions and follow procedures.
- Must be able and willing to work 5 AM-5 PM MON-SAT. Employees average at least 40 hours a week, no more than 50.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities
- Identify different wire sizes and arrange stands in accordance with the lineup.
- Use a crane to move wire stands into position
- Calibrate tangle switches
- Stop lines when needed using the payoff control panel.
- Butt weld wire

- Pull wire through the sand furnace and acid pickle
- Keep payoff in good housekeeping condition.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- Follow established safety procedures when performing tasks and working with equipment.
- Read work instructions and set up machines as required to run different product sizes.
- Stand or walk for the entire shift and use arms and back to perform the tasks associated with the role.
- Must be able to work overtime as required with Saturday availability.
