About The Position
The Structured Finance Group within the Investment Banking Division in New York is looking for an Associate with current investment banking (or related finance) experience to join the team. The Structured Finance group works with clients to finance assets, businesses and risks within their overall business. Each structured finance desk offers specialized client coverage, product expertise, capital markets expertise, deal execution and dialogue with thought-leading investors. The Transportation team's product suite includes securitizations (across aircraft, engines, ships, railcars, container boxes, etc.), EETC financings for airlines, principal financing in the form of warehouses and term loans, asset sales, as well as corporate bonds and term loan B issuances. Given the interaction with groups across the firm globally, Structured Finance provides exposure to a breadth of activities and deal types. These include securitizations, mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, asset sales and secured lending. As aircraft and shipping are dollar denominated businesses, this is a team with a global remit.
