About The Position

As a Flame Gaucho Meat Carver, you will play a pivotal role in creating an authentic Brazilian steakhouse experience. Gaucho Meat Carvers ensure exemplary guest service by providing a full knowledge of cuts of meats table side and what is available on the salad area as well.

Requirements

  • Legally able to work in the United States.
  • Must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Two years of previous food and beverage, customer service and knife handling experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with managers and kitchen personnel.
  • Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Ability to pass a thorough background check as prescribed by CPN Gaming Commission.

Responsibilities

  • Carving and serving tableside freshly prepared cuts of meats for the guest according to established standards.
  • Maintaining positive guest satisfaction by answering questions and accommodating special requests.
  • Cleaning, organizing and restocking product/equipment at the end of the shift.
  • Following established safety standards using safe food handling guidelines and maintaining a clean work area.
  • Completing opening and closing checklists.
  • Referring to Daily Prep List at the start of each shift for assigned duties.
  • Assuming 100% responsibility for quality of products served.
  • Stocking and maintaining sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.
  • Understanding and complying consistently with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
  • Handling, storing and rotating all products properly.
  • Attending all scheduled employee meetings and bringing suggestions for improvement.
  • Promptly reporting equipment and food quality problems to management staff.
  • Informing Management immediately of product shortages.
  • Using the Standard Recipe Book for preparing all products.
  • Performing other duties in the areas of food service including expo or other service assistance.
  • Accurately taking food orders.
  • Explaining and describing menu items to customers.
  • Describing preparation methods of special menu items.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance.
