About The Position

The System Administrator for the Learning and Career Development Center plays a crucial role in managing the Learning Management System (LMS) for a national audience. This position is responsible for tracking available courses and creating local courses within the system. The administrator will communicate course availability to the Association and handle the logistics of training events, including set-up and tear-down. A significant part of the role involves conducting research, writing copy, and distributing the bimonthly "Training Tuesday" email, which provides educational content and highlights training and development opportunities for staff. In addition to these responsibilities, the System Administrator will manage the monthly New Employee Orientation program. This includes sending invitation emails, scheduling calendar invitations, arranging Zoom links, making room reservations, coordinating food and beverage services, and facilitating the all-day program. The role also involves supporting the design and launch of a new part-time orientation program for Gateway, which encompasses training facilitators, creating curriculum and materials, and establishing the program framework. The administrator will assist in analyzing qualitative survey data related to programs, staff, and members. As the System Administrator for the survey software system, Qualtrics, the individual will create personalized survey data for stakeholders, filter data, design and refine data visualization graphics, organize and share survey results, and ensure adherence to data privacy measures. Furthermore, the administrator will support the Senior Director of Learning & Engagement in planning biannual All Staff Conference events, which includes scheduling committee meetings, taking notes, coordinating vendor contracts, and managing event logistics. The role also supports various Leadership Development Department programs, trainings, and events, including the Emerging Leaders program and Articulate360 course creation. The administrator will oversee the LinkedIn Learning platform, updating users, pulling reports, creating learning paths, advertising learning opportunities, and training new administrators and users. Additionally, the administrator will create the annual training calendar, coordinating with course facilitators, determining course needs for the Association, reserving rooms, scheduling classes in the Learning and Career Development Center (LCDC), and maintaining ongoing communications. Approximately 10-20% of the time will be dedicated to supporting the Great Plains Learning Center region.
