About The Position

WindRiver is a luxury lakefront and golf community offering a vibrant lifestyle that encompasses world-class amenities, including a championship golf course, full-service marina, Lakeside Inn, resort-style pool, and much more. At the heart of our community is WindRiver Club, a private members-only club soon to feature Clubhouse Village — home to our restaurant, bar, spa, fitness center, event spaces, and pro shop. As a Gatehouse Guard, you will ensure a safe and secure community by following the proper protocol to only allow authorized entry while remaining courteous and professional in your dealings and communication. This is a part-time evening position with a schedule of Thursday-Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm.

Requirements

High School diploma (preferred).
2 years of relevant security experience; private community experience (preferred).
Active Unarmed Security Guard/Officer license from the State of TN (required).
Must be able to work effectively under minimal direct supervision
Microsoft Office experience preferred
Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts
Demonstrate positive interpersonal and communication skills with staff and customers
Strong organizational skills and general clerical skills including the use of computers, printers, copiers, electronic signatures, email, iPads, etc.
Ability to retrieve information from various technical sources
Positive attitude, professional manner, and appearance in all situations
Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, climb stairs, twist, kneel, lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 30lbs. Must be able to stand and continuously move for up to 8 hours at a time. Must be comfortable working outside and in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Guest Services
Greet all guests and owners in a warm, professional manner to create a positive first impression.
Stay attentive to vehicles arriving at the property and respond quickly to all arrivals.
Follow established procedures to verify whether individuals are authorized before granting them access to the community.
Politely redirect unauthorized personnel from property and do not allow entry until access has been verified.
Respond to phone calls, emails, and internal messages promptly and courteously.
Communicate clearly and regularly with the Welcome Center and all other staff members.
Remain informed about current community events and updates to assist residents and guests effectively.
Program and assign car tags accurately when directed.
Security & Operations
Accurately log vehicle and destination information for each person entering the community.
Direct and handle incoming traffic to the community.
Offer support and guidance on safety practices and procedures to help maintain security throughout the community.
Keep the workplace clean, organized, and presentable always.
Complete any other duties assigned by management or direct supervisor.
