About The Position

The purpose of the Guardhouse Attendant is to monitor shipping/receiving access control and ensure the safety of all Ben E. Keith personnel to maintain a secure work environment. · Review all relevant logs and documentation to ensure daily activities are completed in a timely manner.· Communicate with all relevant personnel to fulfill duties accurately and efficiently.· Support appropriate security procedures to ensure a safe work environment for all BEK personnel.· Perform additional administrative and operational tasks as needed.

Requirements

At least 1 year of related experience required
Knowledge of safety rules required
Ability to use and follow safety rules and guidelines
Proficient use of PC and knowledge of Microsoft applications required
Ability to learn and use internal software applications as needed
Solid interpersonal skills
Good problem-solving and organization skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Excellent work ethic
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
