Gate Transportation Clerk
About The Position
Legacy Supply Chain is hiring a Gate Transportation Clerk to support our customer, GE Appliances, inside Appliance Park. As a Gate Transportation Clerk, you will be responsible for processing inbound and outbound drivers at Appliance Park. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package including a 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match. Schedule and Compensation Monday through Friday- 7:00am to 3:00pm Starting pay $18.00 per hour. Legacy Supply Chain is an equal opportunity employer. Requirements
- Experience working in team-oriented environment.
- Transportation or warehouse experience preferred.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent judgment and decision making
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Application Software, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent customer service
Nice To Haves
- Transportation or warehouse experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Process inbound/outbound drivers through TrackX/ CICS
- Verify SCAC, trailer numbers and correct paperwork are provided at time of arrival.
- Verify Bill of Lading matches physical trailer upon departure of Appliance Park.
- Verify trailer accuracy by performing lot checks in a company vehicle.
