About The Position

ABM is HIRING IMMEDIATELY for Gate-to-Gate Drivers. The employee is responsible for driving Global Services members or customers traveling in United Global First, connecting to down-line flights in/or of select hubs may be provided connection assistance via a private vehicle transfer on the tarmac. Required to have open availability and work weekends.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively in the English language.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, employee handbooks, and passenger boarding documents.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from passengers, managers, clients, customers and the general public.
  • Must possess and utilize effective listening skills.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Must have previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to ascend and descend jet bridge stairs.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively operate current technology required to track and process work orders.
  • Always perform equipment Pre-Ops check at the beginning of the shift in accordance with the ES&H manual.
  • Adhere to all ADA and Air Carrier Access Act non-discrimination requirements.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
  • Comply with all safety, security, compliance and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
  • Display professional image, appearance and behavior at all times.
  • Display exceptional customer service skills when customer facing.
  • Lift and load customer luggage, carry luggage to designated entrances in the terminal.
  • Open and close vehicle door(s) for customer.
  • Perform safety check and audit, note log at the start and end of shift.
  • Fuel and wash/clean vehicle as needed.
  • Complete transfer log and turn in radio/phone, keys and log to the Global Services Supervisor/Lead at the end of shift.
