About The Position

The Gate Guard position at Reser's Fine Foods, Inc. is responsible for ensuring the security of the property by controlling access and monitoring the movement of people and vehicles. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic PC skills are required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain alert and vigilant at all times.

Responsibilities

• Control access to the property by assisting and screening employees, clients, and visitors.
• Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized entry and manage the movement of people and vehicles.
• Verify proper paperwork, including outbound load numbers and purchase order numbers.
• Direct truckers and visitors to various parts of the grounds or buildings.
• Perform basic trailer inspections as needed.
• Conduct physical lot checks during the shift as required.
• Keep the yard management system updated.
• Communicate issues to the Yard Management Team and/or supervisor.
