Requirements

  • 5+ years of gate/commercial garage door experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on field experience in light commercial garage door service.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of garage door systems and general home service codes (residential experience a plus).
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varied conditions.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • A passion for team leadership, accountability, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee gate/commercial garage door service and installation teams to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Manage all department operations, including sales, dispatch, pricing, inventory, fleet maintenance, hiring, and training.
  • Create and execute marketing plans, internal promotions, goal tracking, and lead generation programs.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes as well as safety and service standards.
  • Provide technical support and ongoing coaching to team members.
  • Hire, onboard, and evaluate technicians to maintain top-tier talent.
  • Monitor team performance to maximize profit and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with leadership to generate departmental reports and budgets.
  • Respond quickly to service issues, maintain operational uptime, and track inventory and fleet usage.
  • Handle scheduling needs with flexibility, including availability for emergencies, weekends, or holidays as needed.
