About The Position

Up North Plastics, Inc. a leading plastics manufacturer has an immediate opening for a Gate Attendant at its Cottage Grove, MN location on our Mon-Fri 7AM-3PM shift. A successful candidate requires the ability to operate a computer and communicate well with others. Starting Pay: $17.00

Requirements

Individual should possess excellent communication skills.
Individual should possess strong computer skills
Must have a valid driver's license
Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record check

Responsibilities

Shipment scaling and releasing via computer entry.
Register all visitors properly and ensure they are sent to proper departments.
Patrol grounds on foot as well as in a company vehicle as needed.
Contact police or fire departments in event of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons
Provide coverage for other gate attendants as needed.
Complete daily report.
Communicate with your relief to ensure smooth shift transition.
