The role of Gate Attendant is responsible for greeting guests, providing information about the facilities, completing appropriate passes, and providing directions to the desired location. This position involves ensuring that each entry into the facility is a member, a member's guest, or a guest of the facility's inn. The Gate Attendant will also be responsible for logging guest information, collecting passes or fees, and communicating information about the grounds in a positive manner. Additionally, the role requires answering phones and responding to radio communications in a polite and courteous tone, notifying leadership of any incidents or emergencies, and directing traffic safely and efficiently.
