Requirements

• Doctorate in Medicine.
• Licensed to practice medicine in the current state.
• Board certified or board eligible in gastroenterology.
• Eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
• Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics.

• Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to patient preferences and needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality gastroenterology care to patients.
• Participate in the gastroenterology fellowship program.
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation.
• Engage in a manageable call rotation of 1:7.
• Collaborate with a team of gastroenterologists and advanced practice providers.
