Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a BE/BC Gastroenterologist trained physician to join our established practice in Santa Fe, New Mexico. We’re all about well-being, starting with yours. We offer a nationally competitive salary with relocation allowance available, CME allowance and fully paid malpractice insurance Practice Highlights: Expected work schedule; 36 hours of direct patient care, 4 hours of administrative time Dedicated GI Lab time 2-3 times per week seeing on average 12-15 patients per day. Requirements

• M.D./D.O. in clinical practice.
• Current New Mexico License required.
• Board certified in Gastroenterology.

Responsibilities

• Delivers clinical care to patients in the PMG GI practice in all venues including clinic and lab
• Support mechanisms to gather and report quality measures
• Receives and resolves patient, staff and provider complaints.
• Participates in quality improvement plans
• Works with the leadership team including clinic manager and lab manager on the practices financial, clinical, and service quality performance;
• Participates in the recruitment and retention of physicians and staff who work in the practice
• Takes corrective action when arranged with accountability and authority
• Ability to determine care plans for patients and execute them.
• Ability to teach, train and oversee APCs in the care they deliver to GI patients in clinic.
• Performs other functions as required
