About The Position
The Gastroenterology Care - Physician Assistant position involves providing comprehensive assessments, ordering diagnostic tests, formulating diagnostic impressions, developing and implementing treatment plans, prescribing pharmacologic agents and treatments, and offering counseling and education to meet patient needs. The role also includes performing surgical/procedural assisting duties in support of a gastroenterologist specializing in gastroenterology, hepatology, and interventional endoscopy, with a subspecialty in advanced endoscopic surgery.
