Currently, the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at Cincinnati Children's employs 52 clinical and research MD, DO and/or PhD faculty, and is supported by a large cadre of nurses, physical and occupational therapists, nutritionists, social workers, clinical research coordinators, and laboratory scientists. The division has 16 clinical and research fellows in training per year through ACGME-approved and T32-supported fellowship programs. Research activities are supported by a P30 NIDDK Conte Digestive Disease Research Center. We provide a full range of modern diagnostic techniques, including advanced endoscopy. We use multidisciplinary approaches to study, diagnose, treat, manage, and care for the full spectrum of pediatric gastrointestinal, liver, and nutritional disorders. Our division is internationally recognized for its research. Cincinnati Children's is actively engaged in quality improvement with a strong commitment to provide the best quality of medical care to individuals with pediatric diseases. Together with colleagues in Pediatric Gastrointestinal Surgery, the Division is ranked first in Children's Gastroenterology and GI Surgery by U.S. News & World Report.
