About The Position

Advanced Practice Providers are encouraged to join our GI & Hepatology team at Atrium Health in Lincolnton, North Carolina, where we combine clinical expertise, innovative thinking, and a commitment to excellence in patient care. Atrium Health is seeking an inpatient Gastroenterology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for their Lincolnton, NC location at Atrium Health Lincoln. Job details: 100% Adult medicine Full time inpatient position, Monday through Sunday, 7 days on/ 7 days off 7am-6pm shifts APP will be on call daily with one attending physician Perform inpatient GI consults and round daily at Atrium Health Lincoln. Requirements

  • Experienced APP with at least 2 years of Gastroenterology experience preferred
  • Physician Assistant – Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program required, Master’s Degree preferred. Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants required.
  • Nurse Practitioner – Master’s Degree or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required. License to practice as a Registered Nurse required. Certification in the area of practice from a nationally recognized certifying body required. Acute Care board certification required based upon population and acuity served. FNPs without acute-care certification cannot be considered.
  • Advanced Practice Provider demonstrates strong critical thinking abilities and effective interpersonal skills
  • Able to work autonomously in an inpatient setting
  • APP skilled in prioritization and proactive decision-making.
