About The Position
Kaweah Health is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join our team in Visalia, California, a vibrant community located in the heart of Central California. This position offers a unique opportunity to practice in one of America's most progressive and collaborative health systems, where we prioritize high-quality, patient-centered care. Our expansive continuum of care allows for a variety of practice settings, including private, partnership, single, or multi-specialty practices, ensuring that we support your professional vision and goals. In this role, you will have access to state-of-the-art technology and facilities, including advanced procedures such as ERCP, EUS, and Mat Sedation. Our inpatient services include general endoscopy and advanced procedures, with a set stipend amount for on-call duties. You will also have the opportunity to conduct Bravo and Manometry studies, utilizing 190 Olympus scopes, ensuring that you have the tools necessary to provide exceptional care. For outpatient services, you will be supported by five rural clinics within a 13-20 mile radius of Visalia, as well as commercial and urban clinics located within the city. This allows for a diverse patient base and the ability to provide care in various settings. Our hospital-based Infusion Center offers treatments for conditions such as Crohn's disease and Ulcerative colitis, and you will have access to chemotherapy services with support from local Radiation Oncologists. The conveniently located clinics on our hospital campus further enhance your ability to provide comprehensive care. Additionally, you have the option to blend both inpatient and outpatient services, providing a well-rounded experience as a Gastroenterologist at Kaweah Health. Our organization, founded in 1963, has grown to become the largest hospital in Tulare County and a certified level III Trauma Center, working with over 5,200 medical professionals across our eight-campus healthcare district, which licenses 613 beds.
