About The Position

Our agency is in search of a Gastroenterologist, interested in making a difference, working with the veteran population. We are offering a full-time position for 1+ years, in the beautiful area of Augusta, ME. Please find the details below: Dates of contract - 5/25/26 - 5/29/27 (plus likely extension, if desired) Location: VA Maine Healthcare System, 1 VA Center Augusta ME 04330 Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Call: One (1) weekend in four (4) rotation (1 weekend on and 3 weekends off) and one (1) holiday in every four (4) holidays rotation. This will require carrying a hospital cell phone/pager and the ability to respond by phone within 15 minutes and in person within 1 hour. $300 per hour Paid Malpractice Sign on bonus

Requirements

• Any active, unencumbered state license
• Board Certified /Board Eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology
• ACLS, BLS
• DEA
• NPI
• Must have valid state license
• BC
• Clean professional and criminal record
