About The Position

A well-established, not-for-profit healthcare system in the Seattle, Washington area is actively seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist to join its growing specialty care team. This is a collaborative, patient-centered environment with access to advanced endoscopic technology, strong referral networks, and comprehensive clinical support. Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
Completion of Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship
Washington State medical license (or eligible)
Active/Eligible DEA registration
Strong procedural skills and patient-centered care approach

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care in both outpatient and inpatient settings
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including upper endoscopy (EGD), colonoscopy, and other GI interventions
Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders including GERD, IBS, IBD, liver disease, and GI malignancies
Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists for coordinated patient care
Participate in call rotation (if applicable) with a supportive team structure
Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management
Engage in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based care practices
Work alongside Advanced Practice Providers and multidisciplinary teams
