Gastroenterologist Job Quick Facts: Specialty: Gastroenterology Job Type: Locum Tenens Facility Location: Jackson, MI Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Reason For Coverage: Supplemental Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing Coverage Type: Clinical Only Shift Schedule: Mon -Fri; 7a -3p Patient Volume: 14 per day (IP) New Time Alloted (OP): - Colonoscopies: 30 mins - EGDs: 30 mins - Doubles: 60 mins Physician in Practice: 4 Required Procedures: – Colonoscopy –Lower GI endoscopy –Sigmoidoscopy –Small bowel biopsy –Esophageal dilatation/manometry –Esophageal manometry interpretation –Upper GI endoscopy (diagnostic and therapeutic)with; biopsy,foreign body removal,fulguration of bleeder,injection of varices,banding of varices –ERCP –PEG placement Trauma Level: II EMR: Epic Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: Active MI License or willing to obtain BC/BE BLS, ACLS Fellowship -trained Local Candidate
