About The Position

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is a leading group of over 1,800 physicians in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., exclusively caring for Kaiser Permanente patients. We invite applications for a specialist in Gastroenterology at our South Baltimore Medical Center. Now offering $300,000.00 forgivable loan as a new hire incentive! Unlike other U.S. health systems, MAPMG is built and led by physicians who earn competitive salaries, without income based on providing individual services. Our medical group comprises board-certified physicians across 60+ specialties. MAPMG physicians use a comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) to coordinate care. Our focus is on long-term health, prevention, diagnosing, and treating diseases effectively. MAPMG researchers and staff support innovative ideas, ensuring quality care, educational programming, and advancing best practices through research. What You Can Expect: Provide outpatient consultative & endoscopy services through an internal referral system in a collegial environment that allows for work life balance Provide care with a mix of virtual & in-person patient visits Access to state-of-the-art endoscopy equipment Conduct 30-minute appointments Support a call schedule where call is divided equally amongst all providers Provide inpatient coverage at affiliated hospitals Work with an experienced support staff Opportunities for leadership positions within the medical group if desired A physician friendly EMR (electronic medical record) system

Requirements

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
  • Practice patient-centered, culturally competent medical care
  • Communicate thoughtfully (listen, educate, advocate)
