About The Position

Novant Health Surgical Institute is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join their established team, Novant Health Gastroenterology - Wilmington, located in the desirable coastal community of Wilmington, NC. The ideal candidate is board certified/board eligible and has a background and interest in providing full spectrum GI care. ERCP, EUS, Advanced Training a plus but not required. The group consists of 8 physicians, with one providing GI hospitalist care, and 10 APPs; affiliated with Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center, the only level II Trauma center in southeastern North Carolina.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required.
• Completion of an accredited residency program required.
• For specialty physicians - completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to medical specialty.
• Current MD or DO license in appropriate state.
• Board certification or eligibility.
• Current DEA license required.
