About The Position

The Division of Gastroenterology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine is seeking a General Gastroenterologist to join a division engaged in diverse clinical and academic practices and research, including multiple NIH grants and two NIH Center grants.

Responsibilities

• Teaching Will interact with the division director and fellowship program director to assist with inpatient and outpatient training of our fellows.
• Will participate in educational lectures and seminars, inpatient and outpatient training of our fellows, residents and students.
• Service Will interact with the division chief and faculty for continued expansion of the program.
• Clinical The ideal candidate will see inpatient and outpatient cases with various general GI illnesses, have experience in colonoscopy and upper endoscopy, as well as experience in functional GI disorders.
• Research Opportunity to participate in clinical trials.
