Perform other duties as assigned and in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Report to assigned leader. Duties performed under the general supervision of the Operations Supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma, HSED or GED
- Must possess a valid driver's license and meet company standards for driving
- 1+ years' experience with safety requirements
- 3+ years' familiarity with computers
Responsibilities
- Report irregularities in meter reading or in gas consumption.
- Inform supervisor of any discrepancies.
- Report suspected cases of diversion.
- Report meter installation not conforming to company rules.
- Report gas leaks on service lines, broken meters and service seals.
- Provide Customer Service.
- Relay customer requests to appropriate personnel.
- Provide information regarding company policies and rates.
- Handle minor customer complaints
- Paint meters.
- Common duties as assigned by management.
- Complete records and forms required
- Locating and atmospheric corrosion surveys
- Assist other employees of higher classification when required
