Requirements

• Mechanical and/or Aerospace Engineering degree with 3 to 10 years of experience in the Gas Turbine industry.
• Strong leadership, project management, teamwork, and communication skills, as well as a passion for quality and continuous improvement.
• Experience with both managing a team and ECM, CHGI and PLM tools and process.
• Experience with PLM, Ansys, NX/UG, and Microsoft Suite.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident due to export-controlled nature of work.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical focal for reduced manufacturing deviations through proactive projects.
• Provide expeditious support in engineering drawing changes.
• Proactively monitor and document the progress and timely execution of all projects.
• Apply knowledge of design & manufacturing to implement process improvements and/or new ideas that enhance overall function & quality of the part, reduce cost, & reduce defects in manufacturing.
• Generate and usher through the appropriate processes ECMs, CHGIs and other outputs as projects require in a timely manner and to the highest quality standard.
• Periodically provide updates of projects completed, in work and ready to begin to the Assignment Leader.
• Periodically provide continuous improvement ideas to the Assignment Leader.
