About The Position

Mitsubishi Power Americas provides power generation equipment and comprehensive engineering solutions for advanced class gas turbines. The Fluid System Test Engineer, part of the Auxiliaries Design Engineering Team, acts as the technical liaison to ensure design intent and support project execution onsite. This role ensures the integrity of upgrade verification throughout the project lifecycle, facilitating seamless commissioning and commercial operation. Responsibilities include leading site commissioning, establishing validation standards, developing and executing inspection and test procedures, reporting findings, and resolving failures or deviations. The ideal candidate will have experience with the majority of these skills in commissioning, pneumatics, piping, equipment, controls, and project engineering. In this multifaceted position, you'll apply engineering principles and experience, work autonomously on regular assignments, hold a degree of technical authority, and undertake progressively challenging tasks under the guidance of senior engineers or management. In this capacity, your work scope includes service support of existing systems, recommending design modifications to address specific issues, and testing of new system designs to ensure operating requirements are satisfied (blended fuel with hydrogen, emission control, alternate fuels, power augmentation, turndown, etc.)
