The Gas Turbine Control Room Operator is responsible for maintaining operational stability in a power plant environment. This role involves working in a control room setting, overseeing the operation of gas turbines, and ensuring safety and efficiency in plant operations. The position requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Monitor and control the operation of gas turbines in the control room.
  • Ensure operational stability and safety of the power plant.
  • Lead and manage multiple activities and changing priorities in a high-pressure environment.
  • Recognize and mitigate hazards in the workplace.
  • Maintain and care for company equipment and safeguard assets.
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Process Technology preferred.
  • At least 5 years of power plant experience, preferably as a control room operator or supervisor.
  • Strong knowledge of technology and computer use.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Control Room Operator experience at a Legacy gas power plant.
  • Supercritical unit operating experience.
