A Gas Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas lines, appliances, and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of gas safety, technical expertise, and the ability to work in various environments.
Requirements
Must have 1 year of Gas residential installer experience.
Must have a Valid Driver's license and clean MVR report.
Must possess the ability to own and use power tools to effectively execute plumbing jobs.
Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.
Ability to lift objects safely over 50 pounds, climbing, standing and kneeling.
Ability to wear company approved personal protection equipment per local, state, federal or OSHA regulations.
Valid gas technician license or certification (where required).
Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and codes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain gas lines, pipes, and fittings.
Inspect and test gas appliances and systems for leaks, malfunctions, and safety compliance.
Troubleshoot and resolve gas-related issues in residential and commercial settings.
Perform routine maintenance on gas equipment, including cleaning and adjustments.
Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
Provide clear and concise explanations of work performed to customers.
Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up to date on industry standards.
