The position involves performing work related to line locating activities, which includes driving and maintaining a company vehicle, loading, unloading, and operating various tools and equipment. Responsibilities also include assisting with pipeline locating, adhering to line locating procedures, and maintaining compliance with OKIE 811 law. The role requires inspecting, calibrating, maintaining, and repairing line locating and leakage survey tools, as well as patrolling and maintaining pipeline markers. Additional tasks include reading gas meters, responding to line locate emergencies, and completing various reports related to equipment maintenance, mileage, and gas leaks. Regular and reliable attendance is required, and the employee may perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
