As a Cashier at Meijer, you will craft quality customer experiences by providing efficient, effective customer service in the checkout lane that creates a positive and lasting impact on Meijer customers. You will utilize technology to complete activities and tasks, create 'WOW' moments for customers, complete transactions, handle money responsibly, and maintain accuracy of point of sale purchases. Additionally, you will use good eye contact and body language, display a friendly and outgoing attitude, and be prepared to handle customer questions adequately. Building trustful relationships with customers to encourage return visits is also a key aspect of this role.
