Position Summary: A gas station attendant provides customer service at a full-service gas pumps and oversees gas pump management. Located on the Cowlitz Reservation in Ridgefield, Washington, ilani, is the Pacific Northwest’s premier gaming, dining, entertainment and meeting destination. With nearly 400,000 total square feet, ilani includes more than 100,000 square feet of gaming space with nearly 3,000 slots and 75 gaming tables; 22 different restaurants, bars and retail outlets; and a 2,500-seat meeting and entertainment venue hosting nationally recognized performances.

Requirements

High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
1-year experience in a high-volume customer service environment.
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
Possess a strong understanding of basic math, basic vehicle mechanics, and knowledge of safety protocols, such as where shut-off valves are located and how to use them in case of emergency.
Must be able to understand and consistently deliver brand standards.
Must possess effective oral and written skills and be able to communicate clearly in English.
Must be able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Must possess strong customer service skills with a willingness to take on multiple tasks.
Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions.
Must be able to work outdoors for an 8-hour shift.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.

Responsibilities

Promotes superior guest service.

Maintain a sharp focus on delivering excellent customer service and addressing customer concerns.
Enthusiastically greet guests.
Pump requested amount of gasoline.
Clean all self-serve gas pumps between guests.
Assist guests with momentum and discount processing.
Assist with overall station upkeep, including emptying trash bins, keeping pumps clean, replacing window cleaning fluids, cleaning fuel spills, and sweeping floors.
Comply with all laws, rules, regulations, and company policies.
Maintain site appearance standards.
Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
Performs other duties as assigned.
