Associates will train in 5 different fast-paced areas that make up this dept. This individual must be detail oriented along with having strong hand dexterity. Associates utilize various tools such as: Overhead Hoist, Drills, Saber saw, Paint sprayer, Air Nailers etc. They paint and tag in engines, retrieve engines, wash and repair crates and wash engine parts. Some positions will require computer usage. All positions will need problem solving skills. Tag In: Requires computer skills of scanning barcodes, reading orders, pulling gaskets and small parts as needed, bagging, and strapping engines and operating a hoist when needed. Paint Booth: Requires reading QC cards, some trouble shooting skills, operating painting gun, and operating a hoist to pick up engines, crating up engines with some walking. Engine runner: Requires working on your own and decision-making skills. Muscle memory, taping and plugging engines, pulling needed inserts, and putting away overstock inserts with lots of walking. Crate Repair: Requires working on your own and decision-making skills and is a wet/fast-paced environment all day, will be operating a hoist to load wooden crates and requires repairing wooden crate with tools such as: air Nailer, saber saw, drill and hammer. Steel Tanks: Requires working on your own and decision-making skills and is a wet environment all day. Wash Cranks, Cams, Rods, and small parts. Consist of operating 4 tanks with harsh chemicals throughout the day using a hoist to load baskets and air drill w/brush for cleaning. Must be able to communicate with conveyance.
