About The Position

Responsible for processing transport customer information in the software system including nominations, scheduling, confirmations, allocations, imbalance management, and contract administration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Ability to take direction from management, adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules.
  • Organize and prioritize daily work.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of contractual rights and types of service as defined by the tariffs.
  • Intermediate proficiency level in MS Office applications that include but are not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Be flexible and respond effectively to changing schedules, priorities, and other urgent situations.
  • Required to be available to respond during working and non-working hours.
  • Required to work all shifts to provide gas scheduling coverage 24/7 and 365 days per year.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years of related experience with gas scheduling experience.
  • 1 year of experience with gas scheduling software.

Responsibilities

  • Complete contract, location, and business contact set up in the software system.
  • Implement the scheduling process for all Company natural gas pipelines including scheduling, confirmations, and allocations.
  • Respond timely and accurately to customer inquiries concerning scheduling/contract administration issues and pipeline operations while complying with the tariff and business code of conduct requirements.
  • Review and monitor imbalances with other interconnecting pipelines for accuracy and reconcile differences.
  • Train customers in basic functions of the scheduling software system.
  • Other daily, weekly, or monthly special project duties as assigned.
