About The Position

Consolidated, a cooperative in Central Ohio dedicated to improving the quality of life for our members and communities, is seeking a hands-on, safety-focused Gas Operations Manager to lead our natural gas and propane operations team. If you have propane or natural gas knowledge and a strong focus on service excellence, team development, solving problems in the field, and keeping systems running safely and efficiently, this could be a great fit! The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, leadership experience, and a humble, service‑driven approach that supports our cooperative’s mission and members. In this role you'll coordinate distribution, service, construction, maintenance, troubleshooting, outage restoration, and retirement of facilities to ensure safety and regulatory compliance for efficiency, and overall productivity. You'll oversee routes/schedules, product inventory, and fleet maintenance as well as work in the field as needed. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experienced Driver / Service Technician / Installer and Natural Gas Technician meeting all required qualifications (including Operator Qualification certification) of the positions with at least five years of experience.
  • Valid Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement and Medical Examiner’s Certificate required.
  • Must have good working knowledge of propane and gas standards, PUCO, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
  • Must have read, understood, and be willing to abide by safety manual and outlined requirements; have ability to work in confined spaces.
  • Capable of making full use of available tools, equipment, and technologies.
  • Effective communication, organization, planning, and leadership skills
  • Accuracy, self-motivation, and emotional intelligence are required.
  • Aptitude to fulfill all the competencies for the position (Supervision/Management; Job Knowledge; Standards & Practices; Equipment Operations; Metering Operations; Natural Gas Distribution, Installation, & Maintenance; Propane Delivery; Propane Installation / Set Up; Technical Credibility; Technical Documentation; Troubleshooting & Outage Restoration; and Working with Basic Hand, Power Tools, & Technology).
