Reporting to Construction Crew Supervisor (General Foreman), you lead your crew overseeing coaching and developing all members of your team to achieve their highest potential. To complete projects, you will need to understand the big picture to plan the work and complete tasks safely. As a Gas Utility Foremen, you are a hands-on leader for your crew who takes ownership over coaching, training, and developing others. You will need to understand the big picture to plan the work and execute tasks safely, while completing projects on time. As a Gas Utility Leadman, you will report to and be the right hand to the crew Foreman, playing a key role in leading your crew through the installation and repair of gas lines while ensuring strict compliance with safety and quality standards. Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in gas utility industry
Valid Driver's License
1+ years prior experience in gas utility industry
Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify
Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Pre-employment medical fit-for-duty test; hold/obtain DOT medical card
Join and maintain Union membership

Responsibilities

Coordinate equipment and crews from start to finish ensuring resources are in place and the job is completed safely
Coach on proper use and process to ensure safety and quality of work
Oversee Dig Safe marking and coordinate any issues with utilities
Support the crew by operating equipment, pipefitting, and laboring to exhibit teamwork
Complete paperwork, reports, and status updates
Resolve work problems
Maintain all industry required Operator Qualifications
Perform other tasks as requested by leadership
Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising all crew personnel on daily job tasks
Submit daily reports outlining daily job activities
Assist in managing work sequences to meet customer schedules
Comply with industry and customer operating procedures while ensuring safety and quality
In the interim absence of the Foreman, step in to lead crew to remain operational
