About The Position

The Gas & Convenience Field Merchandiser is responsible for executing all retail programs and maintaining product standards across assigned Gas & Convenience stores. This role reports directly to the Director of Gas & Convenience Business Development and plays a key part in bringing national and local brand initiatives to life at store level. The Field Merchandiser ensures that shelves, coolers, and displays are properly stocked, tagged, and maintained in compliance with current promotions and planograms. The Gas & Convenience Field Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring flawless retail execution across assigned 7-Eleven and gas/convenience locations within their territory. This position plays a key role in maintaining brand standards, ensuring product visibility, executing promotional programs, and supporting our partners through in-store excellence.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of field merchandising or retail sales.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work in various retail environments.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for visiting 10-15 stores per day within their assigned area to make sure all products are properly merchandised, rotated, and in stock.
  • They verify that sales tags, price points, and promotional signage are up to date and visible to customers.
  • The role involves setting up and maintaining displays, coolers, and shippers according to direction from the Director of Gas & Convenience Business Development.
  • Responsible for ensuring new items are placed promptly and any voids are addressed quickly.
  • They are expected to report back on store conditions, competitive activity, and any issues affecting execution.
  • Consistent communication with the Director is key to making sure each store meets brand and promotional standards.
  • Assist in driving sales growth by improvising visibility and placement opportunities within their stores.
  • Performance is measured through metrics such as store visit completion, display compliance, void closure, and contribution to overall volume growth.
  • This role requires professionalism, strong attention to detail, and accountability in maintaining the look and performance of every assigned location.
