With approximately 70,000 miles of natural gas pipelines, we own an interest in or operate the largest natural gas network in North America. Our pipelines serve major consuming domestic markets and transport approximately 40 percent of the natural gas consumed in the United States. Our pipelines are also connected to every important natural gas resource play and supply area in the United States, including the Eagle Ford, Marcellus, Bakken, Utica, Uinta Permian, Haynesville, Fayetteville and Barnett. Primary responsibility is to be responsible for safe, dependable, and efficient pipeline operations. This is an entry level position to perform the job duties of a gas controller on any of the following systems: KMTP, Tejas, Copano or Kinder Hawk. The job location is Houston and the hours are 12 hour shifts. The controller will be responsible for safe, dependable, and efficient pipeline operations. Draft and distribute emergency response communiqués utilizing KM's emergency response systems. Ensure smooth transition of shift turnovers through verbal and written communication. Maintain a high regard for personal safety, the safety of company assets and employees, and the general public.
