About The Position
WBS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Gas Buyer/Planner in one of our Chicago, IL, Green Bay, WI or Milwaukee, WI locations. The Gas Buyer/Planner should have a background in data science and/or analytics. This position is part of a job family (Associate Gas Buyer, Gas Buyer, Senior Gas Buyer) and experience will be the determining factor. As a Gas Buyer/Planner you will manage daily and monthly utility natural gas portfolios along with forecasting utility peak day demand. You will be responsible for the short term management of liquefied natural gas, fuel oil and propane supply for the portfolio. The Gas Buyer/Planner may rotate between portfolios. This position must work weekends and evening hours on a rotating basis.
