About The Position

As a Key Accounts Representative II, you will play a critical role in advancing growth for Gas Distribution and Storage (GDS) Industrial segment in Utah. You will be the primary point of contact for our industrial customers – deeply understanding their operations, anticipating their needs, and helping them meet and expand their energy requirements. Your work directly supports Enbridge’s long-term growth, system development, and customer satisfaction. #joinourteam

Requirements

  • A self-starter with 5+ years of experience in sales, utilities, or the energy industry.
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Accounting, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent specialized experience.
  • Knowledge and exposure to Tariff, energy trends, competitors and other players in the energy industry.
  • Through the eyes of your customer, you can see the bigger picture and can develop comprehensive plans to achieve results.
  • Ability to identify an opportunity.
  • Driven to work in a target-based environment, achieving sales and market development goals.
  • You have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and have experience presenting right and relevant information to different audiences as appropriate.
  • Be familiar with local government and current affairs impacting energy and industry policy.
  • Refined interpersonal skills and ability to “read a room”.
  • Ability to analyze a spreadsheet and familiar with basic accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with current Utah and Wyoming Tariff / rate structure.
  • Current driver’s license with acceptable record.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic sales growth: Proactively identify, pursue, and develop industrial growth opportunities across Utah by; growing current customer accounts, maintaining current accounts with a high level of customer satisfaction, and seeking new accounts and growth for the system.
  • Develop Customer Insights: Use a deep understanding of customer operations and market dynamics to articulate the value natural gas provides and shape tailored solutions.
  • Be the voice of the customer: Build strong, trust-based relationships; Identify and anticipate needs; and influence internal teams to deliver value-added solutions that meet and exceed expectations.
  • Be a problem solver.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with engineering, legal, regulatory, measurement and control, gas control, operations, Pre Construction, customer care and billing teams to deliver integrated, customer-centric growth solutions that are aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Strengthen Existing Partnerships: Provide proactive account management to help customers meet upcoming needs and support their long-term growth plans.
  • Monitor and optimize: Track performance against sales targets, customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and operational effectiveness. Use data to inform and create strategy.
  • Engage externally: Represent Enbridge in key industry events, conferences, regulatory discussions, and customer forums to strengthen our position as a market leader.
  • Support internal Initiatives: Assist with internal projects and regulatory initiatives as required.
