About The Position

Maintains and improves campus landscapes and performs some maintenance duties during winter months.

Requirements

• Basic literacy skills, including reading and writing
• Previous experience in ground maintenance preferred

Responsibilities

• Waters, fertilizes, trims, weeds and generally cares for plants, trees, shrubs and lawns.
• Landscapes planted areas.
• Removes leaves and other debris from planted and general campus areas.
• Shovels, plows, and blows snow and salts sidewalks and drives as required.
• Moves furniture and equipment as assigned.
• Arranges for and carries out repairs to sidewalks, roads and parking lots.
• Assist to maintenance crew during winter months.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor.
