About The Position

Garden Technician III This role is essential to maintaining the health and productivity of crops and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role will perform hands-on care and upkeep of our garden to ensure the highest quality to elevate the kitchen and dining experience for our Team Members.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Must be comfortable working in adverse weather conditions such as heat, rain, cold, etc.
• Must have a strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work both independently and collaboratively on a team

Responsibilities

• Daily Garden Maintenance
• Planting, weeding, mulching, cultivating, and harvesting crops
• Washing and preparing produce for kitchen-readiness
• Assist with soil preparation and compost management
• Support irrigation setup and monitoring
• Follow sustainable and organic growing practices as directed
• Tool & Equipment Use
• Responsible for safe use and operation of basic hand tools and garden equipment
• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas
• Support the Garden & Grounds Manager with inventory, notifying and escalating inventory / equipment needs as necessary
