Our customers shop with us for our highly regarded bakery; our grocery selections; our fresh, locally grown produce; our range of delicious prepared foods from our kitchen; our beautiful flowers and plants (many grown on premises); and our courteous and helpful staff. We employ customer-driven individuals that are dedicated to enhancing our warm and inviting farm-fresh shopping experience. Wilson Farm is hiring a full-time Sales Associate to join our Garden Department team! This position pays starting at $18.00 commensurate with experience.
Requirements
- Knowledge of plants and their care a must
- Reliable/punctual with a strong work ethic and friendly, outgoing personality
Nice To Haves
- Prior retail garden center/nursery (indoor/outdoor live plants) experience highly desirable
- Your experience is appreciated if you previously worked for Mahoney’s, Russell’s Garden Center, Pemberton Farms, Wagon Wheel, Home Depot, Lowe’s, or other garden center
Responsibilities
- Assisting customers in product selection
- Cashiering customers purchases
- Stocking/caring for seasonal plants as well as associated seasonal items, arranging displays
