Job Responsibilities: Garden Center Team Member This role is integral to the smooth operation of our garden center, encompassing inventory management, customer education, service, and team support. Inventory & Logistics Collaborate with the Inventory Manager to receive and process incoming plant orders from various vendors. Assist in tagging, merchandising, and ensuring the accurate counting and maintenance of plant inventory. Support the preparation, pulling, and loading of customer orders for delivery. Plant Knowledge & Education Develop a comprehensive understanding of our selection of plants, trees, and garden supplies. Educate customers on proper plant care, maintenance, and offer creative landscaping and gardening advice. Guide customers in selecting the best plants to meet their specific needs. Customer & Team Service Deliver exceptional customer service by proactively answering questions and offering assistance. Help customers and fellow team members with loading plant materials. Participate in a small team to execute minor plant installations for customers. Team Support & Operations Foster a collaborative and efficient environment by working closely with all team members. Assist with general garden center tasks as needed, including plant watering, care, and merchandising displays. Contribute positively to the overall success and operations of the garden center.
