About The Position

The Simply Set team offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about plants and gardening who enjoy working outdoors. Simply Set is part of a family-owned wholesale grower specializing in a wide range of seasonal products, including annuals, perennials, and vegetables. They partner with major retailers, supplying high-volume, high-quality plant material while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have plant knowledge and hands-on experience, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and strong customer service skills. A commitment to following management direction and executing client initiatives is essential.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Saturday work is required as part of the role.
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs. as needed.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Smartphone required.
• Photos must be taken during each store visit and submitted to the Team Lead.
• Plant knowledge and hands-on experience.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong customer service skills.
• A commitment to following management direction and executing client initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Display, merchandise, and maintain live plant products in large garden center environments.
• Train and support other associates on procedures, displays, and proper watering practices.
• Engage with customers and provide assistance as needed.
• Work across multiple store locations when required.
• Collaborate effectively with store personnel to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain regular communication with the Team Lead and promptly report any special requests or needs.
